FAQ
Q: Do you accept returns or exchanges?
- A: Bats- We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of your order date. Please email info@contenderathletics.com with your order number. All returns/exchanges must be shipped back to Contender Athletics at your expense. Bats must be un-hit and in-wrapper to be eligible for return or exchange. Once they arrive at the facility they will be inspected to make sure they are approved for return. Once approved you will be refunded by method of payment.
Most Slowpitch, available at CA come with 1 year manufacturer warranty included. See individual product listings for details, or reach out to us with any questions.
Wood bats and Senior Softball bats typically do NOT carry a warranty.
Warranty is handled by the manufacturer in all cases, even for bats we exclusively sell.
We do not determine what bat you get in “return” for your broken bat – even in the case of one of our exclusive bats. Please contact the manufacturer directly using the numbers below:

- A: Apparel and other products must not show signs of wear or have been washed. Items are returnable for 30 day after purchase. Mystery Box items, are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Custom and customized apparel: We do not allow returns or exchanges on customized apparel or gear items. If there is an issue with quality or misspellings please contact us within 14 days of receiving the item and we will try to make it right.
- Gear We have a 45 day policy for gear items, batting gloves, roller bags, backpacks. Please have your order number available and submit it with your request form.
Q: Can I cancel my pre-order?
- A: We do not accept cancellations on any pre-ordered products.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items)
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Do not ship bats to Contender Athletics unless instructed to do so by CA. Bats shipped to CA will be held for 30 days. We will make an attempt to contact you, but in some cases we don’t have your information to do so. We will hold the bat for 30 days to let you try to reclaim it, then we will dispose of it at our discretion.
